360° House

  • Design year: 2020
  • Construction year: 2021
  • Location: Pitsidia, Crete

Perched on a hilltop in Pitsidia, Crete, this project is an architectural design house that commands a breathtaking 360-degree view. Designed with precision and grace, the residence is bisected by a slender corridor flanked by two expansive pergolas. One gazes out towards the azure embrace of the sea, while the other offers a serene vista of the majestic mountains.

At the heart of this home is a sheltered atrium that looks towards the mountains, providing a protected oasis from the winds and a tranquil space for contemplation. Stretching out towards the horizon, a 25-meter-long pool bridges the gap between the dwelling and the sea, creating an illusion of continuity with the vast expanse of water. This structure is a testimony to minimalist elegance, where every line and angle is a deliberate stroke of design genius, integrating the home into its rugged surroundings with a sense of natural fluidity.
