The concept’s intention is to conduct an interesting dialogue between traditional and contemporary architecture. An elongated concrete mass is sitting on top of two stone boxes in such a way that creates a covered area that frames the view as you enter the houses.
The living areas of the two dwellings are located on the ground floor, and the first floor houses the bedrooms, as well as exterior spaces taking advantage of the views.
The points of contact between these two materials where very important for the design, that is why a recess is created along the edge where the ground floor stone wall meets the concrete walls of the first floor.
